Suzanne

Océane Colom, known as Suzane, born December 29, 1990 in Avignon, is a French singer.She became known in 2019 through her presence on the French scene, before publishing her first album, Toï Toï, the following year. She was awarded the Victory for Stage Revelation at the Victoires de la Musique 2020. In November 2022, she released a second album: Caméo.A meteoric rise from 2019Suzane wrote her first texts behind her bar, first with a response to the polemical rap of Orelsan Sale Pute first, then with La Foule, a title which evokes her real-life problems. She also wrote her first singles there. After meeting producer Chad Boccara, she began her career in 2017, approaching her thirties. Her pseudonym, Suzane, is a tribute to an ancestor. She released her first singles, first successes, in 2018: L'Insatisfait and La Flemme. She performed on stage for the first time the same year.In 2019, Suzane's pace of work intensified and her notoriety skyrocketed. She performs in thirty-two festivals for a total of more than 200 concerts, becoming the most present artist on the French scene in 2019, even though she has not released any album. She plays in particular at the Festival des Vieilles Charrues and made several dates in China and Japan19 with the Alliance française. She released a four-track EP in mid-2019 on 3e Bureau, a Wagram Music label, as well as the radio singles Suzane13 and Il est où le SAV? His video clips, in which dance plays a key role, also enjoy some success on the web. Mainly that of the environmentalist song Where is the after-sales service?, filmed in one of the largest open-air landfills in the world, Mbeubess, near Dakar.

On March 10, 2022, Suzane returns to the stage at Rungis to begin her new tour. This new tour of 53 dates (including 32 festivals), passes through the Olympia (initially planned for the first tour, but postponed due to the pandemic) on September 22, 2022. This first date being sold out, June 30 is announced a second date in this room for May 10, 2023.On April 9, the singer posted several posts on her social networks, announcing her return with the title Clit Is Good, which was released on Thursday April 14. The music video, directed by Charlotte Abramow, was released the same day at noon. The latter was censored in 3 days by Youtube, the platform subjecting it to an age limit.On June 15, the singer announced the release of Belladonna, the second extract from her new album, which was released the next day.Political commitmentsSuzane is a feminist activist, involved in the Nous Tous collective, and an environmentalist. In 2017, in the presidential election, she voted blank, explaining that she had not found a candidate “really listening to the people”Her creations
